Assumption Cross Country
You've arrived at the Assumption Cross Country team website. Assumption's first Cross Country team competed in 1981 and, in their inaugural year, the team won the Regional Championship. Since that time, the team had a State Runner-up team finish in 2006, and won a State Championship in 2007. This site is not only a source of current season team information, but is also dedicated toward highlighting the accomplishments of the many Assumption Cross Country athletes who have competed since 1981.
The 2008 Cross Country Season has begun!
The last day to join the team is Friday, Aug 15 (the day of our Parent Meeting).
On weekdays, we meet on Monday through Thursday at Seneca Park after school and are usually
done between 4:30 and 5:00pm. For the girls who run with us on the weekends, Saturday practice is either at Iroquois Park or Seneca Park
(usually) at 9:30am and Sunday practice is at 5:00pm at EP Tom Sawyer.

St Francis High School, Our Sister Team
Assumption Cross Country has a sister team relationship with the St Francis High School Cross Country team, a top Division III girls program in (Sacramento) California. We visited St Francis during the Fall 2007 season and competed in the Granite Bay Invitational. Our current plan is for each team to visit the other every 3-4 years.
